Experts reveal mortgage terms for Coventry homeowners are now the longest ever

The Coventry Telegraph reports “Last year, nearly a third of first-time buyers in the CV postcode took out a loan set to last 35 years or more.  Experts say the cheaper monthly payments are freeing up money for "other luxuries".  Gareth Shaw, head of money at Which?, said: “In recent years lenders have started offering much longer-term mortgage deals in a bid to help cash-strapped first-time buyers take their first step on the property ladder.”” Read more
