The haves and have nots: How life expectancy differs in Coventry

The Coventry Telegraph reports “Being poorer puts you at greater risk of dying younger...Figures reveal the poorest men in Coventry are dying an average of more than nine years earlier than the richest - with a life expectancy of just over 73 years compared to nearly 83 years for the best off.

The poorest women are also dying nearly eight years earlier than their richer peers, with a life expectancy of around 78 years compared to one of nearly 86 years.”
