As part of our commitment to the Pension Transfer Gold Standard, Cotswold has introduced the use of a series of educational videos for clients approaching retirement.

The videos are part of a service, known as Final Salary Portal, which is made up of a series of 17 short videos. Each video illustrates a particular issue relating to defined benefit (DB) pension transfers, such as what it means to a saver’s guarantees if they transfer out, or what it means for taxation if they stay.

Cotswold has found the videos benefit not only those considering a final salary transfer but also clients thinking ahead to the financial implications of retirement. They are a useful addition to conversations with their adviser about the options in retirement and implications of each.
